The room hadn’t been cleaned properly after the previous guest. The floor was dirty, and the fridge had old milk, cheese, and a half-used Pepsi, which was off-putting. In the bathroom there was no hand towel, toiletries, or bath mat, and the bath towels would only wrap around a small child. It felt easy to slip getting out of the shower. There wasn’t a hair dryer either. We were given a top-floor room, and there’s no lift, so bear that in mind if stairs are difficult for you. There was a lot of disturbance outside at night, and we could clearly hear other guests going up and down the stairs. The area felt rough and didn’t seem safe to walk around at night, so you’d need to get an Uber back from the tube station. When we arrived, the whole place was shut, with blinds down and doors locked. That seemed to be the norm during our two-day stay. We had to call the owner to let us in so we could leave our bags before heading out. Would not recommend.

When we booked, the photo showed a bar, but there wasn’t one. The area’s quite rough, though it’s very close to Cricklewood, which is nice, and only one tube stop from Wembley. It’s a convenient location.

It’s a perfect base for events at Wembley, about two miles away, and I’d definitely stay again. The public areas were very clean and modern. Rooms are basic but fine, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The surrounding area looked a bit dodgy, but it was actually fine and completely quiet when we got back to the hotel around 11:30.

The room was small but clean and cheap enough, ideal for our one-night stay. The area seemed a bit sketchy, though we had a pleasant chat with some locals. Nearby food places are cheap and cheerful.

I do not recommend this place. The host’s behaviour felt unprofessional and overfriendly. I arrived after check-in time but still had to wait outside for the keys. During the room tour, I pointed out that the bathroom sliding door was broken, and the host agreed. Hours after I’d checked out, he asked me to pay for the damage. He also shared my personal number with someone else, who contacted me asking for payment for the door. There weren’t enough toiletries for two people. The locality wasn’t nice, and there was a lot of noise and disturbance outside. Worst stay, 0.5/10.
