Byron Hotel London

It was surprisingly quiet, and the air conditioning was a brilliant extra. I was there for one night on a solo business trip. The room was small, as I expected after reading other reviews, but it was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed. The hotel was spotless, reception was open 24 hours, and check-in was smooth. It was also easy to reach the rail, bus, and tube networks.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, and we had a pleasant stay. The location was perfect. The bathroom and bedsheets were quite clean. Our room was a little small, though I think that’s acceptable compared with London hotels.

What stood out most at the Byron was the staff. They were exceptionally friendly and attentive, and even offered to keep our luggage after checkout so we could explore London more easily on our last day. The hotel is in an elegant townhouse on a very quiet street, a short walk from Kensington Gardens and the nearby underground station. Reception is staffed around the clock, which felt reassuring. The place is stylish and impeccably clean. The rooms are on the small side, more like what I’d expect from a two-star property, but they’re thoughtfully laid out and perfectly adequate for a city stay. It’s a charming, well-kept hotel with a welcoming atmosphere and an excellent location.

The people were amazing and helpful, and the place was clean. After checkout, they let me stay downstairs and work for about five hours. I really appreciated that.
