We asked for a late check-in, and someone was waiting at the apartment when we arrived. The host was helpful, and the modern place had everything we needed. I'd definitely recommend it.

Everything was provided, from shower gel and kitchen gadgets to a TV and Wi-Fi. It's a cosy apartment listed as a studio, though it feels more like a one-bedroom because the kitchen is separate. The location is ideal, a few minutes from Baker Street station and Madam Tussauds. I'd definitely stay again.

I never actually stayed. I booked through booking.com, then cancelled a few hours later after learning there'd be a security deposit. I paid £94 and got no refund at all. I expected to lose 70% for cancelling, but the fine print meant I received nothing. Check-in also depended on their work schedule, so I couldn't collect the keys at 4pm, which seemed like a reasonable time to me.

We stayed for just two nights, and the apartment was perfect: clean, well cared for and good value. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. I can't fault it and would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Great location, and the apartment is cool. It could just use a cosier feel.
