The second bedroom in our two-bedroom apartment had no window or ventilation, so it was hot and stuffy. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable that we ended up putting its mattress on the floor. We also had just one key for four to six adults, no tea towel, very low water pressure, and a shower that was difficult to use. There wasn't any washing powder, though there were plenty of other cleaning supplies, and we ran short of toilet paper and tea bags. We booked three nights through a popular site with good reviews. I wish I'd checked Google reviews too. London has plenty of other places to stay, and I'd pick one of those unless this place improves.

I woke up to men talking inside my flat and was terrified. They have keys to every flat and come in whenever they want without asking permission. The front desk was rude and completely unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. It could be London's worst managed building.

Please don't rent this place. It gets seriously hot in summer, maintenance is poor, and something is always being fixed, with noise every week. I'm also concerned about safety. You'd regret renting here.

Before renting at Carlow House, make sure you know the full charges for hot water and central heating. Those costs weren't disclosed to us as tenants, and the rates are exorbitant.

The service was very bad, and they didn't stick to the cleaning schedule. Over 10 days, they cleaned only once.
