Charles Hope London Battersea

Make sure the pre-check-in email reaches you. I didn't get it, which made checking in and finding the place difficult. Google Maps sent me to the wrong location, and the entrance was hard to find, with no Charles Hope Apartments sign on the door. The room itself was lovely.

There isn't any staff in the building for Charles Hope, so if you need something you have to call them each time. The doorman looks after the building, not Charles Hope. The room is spacious, with a nice kitchen and balcony, though the bathroom is only so-so. The location is okay and quiet since you have to walk deep into a residential complex. There's an Asian supermarket nearby, but the selection is limited, and it takes a while to walk to the nearest subway station.

The apartment smelled bad, and the room had no cooling. I contacted the agency about it, but their response didn't help.

Each morning I walked through Battersea Park to the RCA, which was a wonderful way to start the day. I needed somewhere within reach of the Royal College of Art's Battersea campus, and this seemed like a good fit. The apartment was clean, spacious, and modern. Restaurants, grocery shops, and cafes are all within walking distance, and Battersea Power Station Tube is about 10 minutes away. Try the Salad Project at the Battersea Power Station!
