Charmstay Apartments

It's a tidy little studio, and it looks just like the photos. For a short stay, it had what I needed: a bed, oven, washing machine, microwave, kitchen utensils including pots, pans, plates, knives, and forks, plus towels. Being able to cook small meals saved me money on food in London. The location is a bit away from the main tourist sights, though there's a tube stop about a 10-minute walk away and lots of shops within 15-20 minutes on foot. The bed wasn't the comfiest, with just two flat pillows on the double bed, one each. Some noise also came through the walls from other apartments. Still, it was good value, and I'd definitely stay again.

The apartment was in a residential area, in a handy location about a six-minute walk from Swiss Cottage Metro Station on the grey line and around 20 minutes from Belsize Park Metro Station on the black line. I stayed six days, and the place I was assigned was in the basement. It was bright, clean, and comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The small bathroom worked fine, and the apartment came with kitchen utensils, a coffee machine with pods, and towels. Check-in was easy: the keys were in a box outside the apartment, and the host sent a code to open it. I highly recommend this property.

Decent, and good by British standards. The entrance and stairs smelled a little musty, but there was plenty of interior space and almost everything we needed. A few more dish towels and placemats would have helped, though we managed without them.

We spent a really good week here. The studio was clean and had all the appliances we needed, including an oven, microwave, washing machine, cooker and utensils. The only small downside was the lack of cleaning supplies. There was toilet paper and just one garbage bag.
