The reception staff were amazing, the location is good, and housekeeping did a good job. But the furnishings, decor, and furniture condition were a letdown. The nightly and weekly rates are high for a place in this state. The owners really should replace the carpets, couches, and chairs, which are tattered and stained.

The high rates and five-star apartment marketing set expectations that the property didn’t meet. It fell short even of a four-star standard. Housekeeping was poor: rooms were cleaned only on weekdays, with no weekend service, and even then the cleaning was very basic. The rooms also felt extremely dated, worn, and neglected, and were badly in need of renovation. The lack of care for cleanliness and comfort was disappointing. The property needs major improvements to its service and upkeep to justify its rating and prices.

For two days in cold London weather, we had no hot water. We reported it several times and nothing was fixed. One staff member was rude and told us, “You’re just complaining for no reason. If you have a problem, talk to the management!” Yet no one from management ever answers or follows up. The poor service, unprofessional staff member, and lack of management accountability made this stay extremely disappointing, far below what you’d expect from a supposed five-star property. The apartment was very old and poorly maintained, and the cleaning was terrible. They even put torn sheets on the bed. I would never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I don’t know how anyone praises this dump. One of the dirtiest places I’ve stayed in. A really, really bad experience. Avoid! There were flies throughout the apartment, which made it feel dirty and uncomfortable. The bed linen clearly hadn’t been changed before we arrived, with visible yellow stains. The apartments looked very different from the booking photos: much smaller, with old, worn furniture. The bathroom sink was clogged and wouldn’t drain properly for our entire stay. On two separate mornings there was no hot water at all, unacceptable for any property, never mind a five-star accommodation. Constant loud noise from upstairs disturbed us. The elevator was out of service at certain hours, so we had to carry a buggy up and down the stairs, which was very inconvenient and avoidable. Without a doubt, one of my most disappointing accommodation experiences. These problems ruined the stay and fell short of basic expectations for a premium-rated property. Absolutely disgusting and worthless.
