Comfort Inn Edgware Road W2

Check-in was super quick, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Our room was clean and cozy, just right for two, and housekeeping changed the towels every day. We had a wonderful stay, honestly the best in London, and the hotel was even better than I expected. Near the end, we left our luggage in the storage room, which was so handy. We could spend the day walking around without our suitcases and pick them up whenever we liked. The location is close to great areas like Marylebone and Edgware Road. Huge thanks to all the staff. We'll definitely return, and I truly recommend this hotel.

We’ve stayed here twice on week-long London trips, and when we planned our return, this was the first place we checked. We already knew we wanted to stay here again. It’s comfortable, clean, and feels fresh, with friendly staff and a great spot for getting around. Paddington and Little Venice are a short walk away, and several Underground lines are close by. There are loads of nearby food choices, plus Aldi, Sainsbury’s, and Tesco about five minutes away. It’s good value for a central hotel, and it has everything I want for a few nights. The free Wi-Fi kept dropping and made me reconnect while I was reading. That was a small annoyance on holiday, but it would be frustrating if you needed to work remotely. We didn’t try the hotel food. I also wouldn’t expect a silent night in a city hotel. The noise didn’t bother us, though light sleepers might want earplugs. Our own city street is louder at night than anywhere we stayed here.

The room was roomy and very clean, including the bathroom. It had a hair dryer, tea and coffee, TV, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning for summer, and there’s a lift and 24-hour access. Housekeeping was good, the staff were friendly, and getting in with the card was easy. There was a locker in the room too. I booked breakfast, which was decent if you want a filling meal. I really liked my three nights here and felt the quality was worth what I paid. It’s only a straight 4-5 minute walk from Edgware station. I’d recommend it to friends and family.

The room itself was nice and spacious, and there are pleasant restaurants around, with shops and good train and bus access nearby. The night was very noisy. Staff were shouting or playing things on their phones at a fairly audible volume. Breakfast was underwhelming: boiled eggs, cereal, toast, yoghurt, packaged bread, and a pancake machine. The sauce kept running out, and I had to listen to the chef watching a video on their phone while I ate.
