I booked two nights and changed rooms three times on arrival because the place was dirty and felt unsafe. Eventually I said I couldn’t stay. They replied, ‘lots of people do this,’ and agreed to refund my stay. I then had to find somewhere else at 9:30 at night. They only returned half my money and ignored all my complaint emails. I’ve stayed at many ibis hotels and they’ve all been lovely, so I trusted the ibis name. This one was terrible, with door handles hanging off. I’ll never book an ibis again without checking reviews first. Look at the photos I posted on trip advisor.

My wife and I spent three nights there, and it wasn’t a good experience. The hotel was very basic and smelled bad, with a constant drain smell. I couldn’t get the shower’s hot tap working, and the sink was blocked. I told a nicely dressed staff member, who seemed to acknowledge the complaint, but none of it was dealt with over the next two days. Breakfast was acceptable. The building looks great from outside, but they seem more focused on appearances than looking after guests. We won’t go back or recommend it.
