Cubo Apartments Farringdon

After about forty years of visits to London, my husband Frank and I may have found our ideal place. Our two-bedroom flat faced the gardens of Georgian townhouses. The rooms were modern, well designed, very clean and full of light, and it was wonderfully quiet. Coming back after a day among London's multinational crowds, with all its energy set against the city's ancient character, was a pleasure. Don, the manager, was charming and extraordinarily helpful, as were the rest of the staff. The cleaning crew was heavenly, and there were lots of lovely, big wooden coat hangers you could take off the rail. One small thing: the plumbing in the flat could be stubborn at times. We've run into similar bathroom plumbing in London museums, restaurants and other places, so maybe it's just us Americans.

We've stayed at Cubo apartments several times and had lovely visits each time. The management and cleaners have been helpful both while booking and during our stays, and they've been very accommodating. George, the caretaker, deserves a special mention for sorting out anything we need so quickly. The location is super convenient, especially with Farringdon station nearby. Waitrose and Tesco downstairs are a real bonus, and there are lots of nice cafes and restaurants a short walk away. I'd highly recommend Cubo apartments.

I left my backpack in the lobby on our last day, with my computer and a lot of cash inside. It sat unattended for two hours, but the owner responded right away, even at 7AM on a weekend, and kept an eye on it via video camera. I got it back with everything still there, which left me feeling the building and neighborhood were very safe. We'd had a great stay that summer. The owner was easy to reach, and staff responded quickly to our needs and minor repairs. It felt like staying at a friend's place. The apartment was clean, spacious, well equipped with the essentials, and centrally located. There was no air conditioning, but we didn't need it. It was a fun place to stay, and we'll definitely return.

We spent a whole month here with friends. Check-in and checkout were easy, and I loved having Netflix on the TV. The kitchen is cute, and having Waitrose and Tesco just downstairs was super convenient. Any time we had a question, they got back to us really quickly. The cleaning service impressed me most. The team was very professional, and after the weekly clean we felt like we'd been reborn, not gonna lie 🤣.
