Danubius Hotel Regents Park

This worked perfectly for Regent’s Park Mosque, lords cricket ground, and London zoo. We had a comfortable, clean studio overlooking the cricket ground, with a nice bathroom and washing and shower supplies. The reception area was pleasant too. I had trouble getting into the restaurant because of mobility issues, but they kindly served us in the cafe area, which was still closed. The coffee was fab!

The reception and lobby look great, but my room doesn’t resemble the photos. I’m here for the next two weeks, and the paint job in the room already needs redoing. It was done poorly.

I spent 13 nights here and had a very positive stay. Reception and concierge staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and did what they could to make me comfortable. Special thanks to Marcia, Hichem and Dainius, though I’m not completely sure I have the spellings right. The buffet was plentiful and good, if not great. The main reason I’ve given four stars is the state of the room. I was clearly not on a renovated floor, and over nearly two weeks the run-down look was hard to miss. Housekeeping kept it as clean as possible, and although it was small, there was enough room for me on my own. I’d asked for a walk-in shower because of physical limitations, but my first room had a bathtub. The staff were understanding and moved me after one night. The new room had a shower, but was even smaller, and the toilet was less than two inches from the wall. I’m not a small person, and I challenge anyone except a child to sit there without turning diagonally and putting their legs under the sink. Staff tried to find another room, but the only option meant paying an extra £60 a night. I couldn’t afford that, so I stayed. It was uncomfortable, though it didn’t spoil my trip. From the building layout, rooms ending in 16 or 17 are likely to have the same issue. There’s room for improvement, but I’d probably stay again in the same situation. Thanks again to all the staff for trying to make my visit comfortable.

We got a great rate when we stayed at the Danubius Hotel Regents Park in September 2025. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated, and staff were helpful and easy to reach whenever we needed anything. St John's Wood subway station on the Jubilee line is about a 10-minute walk away. It’s a gorgeous, somewhat quieter part of town, with coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores like starbucks and pret-a-manger nearby. Regents Park and Primrose Hill are close too.
