I booked the apartment through Booking and have been trying for over two months to cancel because of the war in Israel. My new plane ticket doesn't fit their very limited check-in window, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. I asked every day if they could arrange another time, and they rejected my request each time. Booking tried to help me get in touch, but I still got no response. Neither they nor Booking have responded to my cancellation attempts over the last two months. I don't recommend this at all. It feels like a scam.

We stayed in January with my boyfriend and his little sister. The location was the best part, but the cleanliness wasn't great, and collecting the keys was a nightmare. I'm still waiting for the €300 deposit from that stay. I waited two weeks, then three, a month, and two months. Now it's April. I can't get hold of the property because the phone number is disconnected, and the email address is just a string of random numbers. After several follow-ups through Booking.com, the last reply I got was, "Ask Booking.com, they'll help us." I suspect fraud, so be careful. They asked me to pay through Tid Property, as shown in the screenshot below.

The mattress had springs and we found it very uncomfortable. Still, we'd come back because the place is convenient otherwise and has excellent public transport links.
