The upgrade made a great first impression. As I arrived, the young man at the desk overheard me say I wanted a larger room and arranged one straight away. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and he made me feel valued from the start. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and well appointed, with everything kept to a high standard. I was impressed by the attention to detail across the property and by staff who were friendly, approachable, and ready to help. They deserve credit for going out of their way to make a stay memorable. It was my first visit to the Dorsett hotel, but it won't be the last. I travel often and have already decided this will be my preferred choice when I'm in the area. Thanks to everyone for such an enjoyable stay. I'm looking forward to coming back.

We booked early last year, then our reservation was cancelled for supposed overbooking. The property wasn't actually overbooked, since they relisted the same room for triple what I'd paid. There was no compensation or apology. Booking.com only offered an alternative at a two-star hotel. These are extremely poor business practices and should be reported.

I booked two rooms at this hotel and had a very pleasant stay. Without me asking, they put the rooms together with a connecting door. The reception staff were kind and helpful, and both rooms were immaculate and clean. Between Dorsett Shephards Bush and Canary Wharf, I'd strongly recommend this one. It feels like what I expect from a four-star hotel, and the property has clearly kept its image up throughout. I was very impressed.

The location made it easy to get around, with the DLR close by and good access to the O2 and Canary Wharf. Staff were friendly. My room was quiet and comfortable, with simple decor and good blackout. The toiletries were a nice brand, if that's something you like. A few things could've been better: I couldn't easily figure out the air con, though I didn't call for help, and the bathroom lighting was too bright with no softer option for night. The pillows were too big for me, so a slimmer choice would've helped. There was no water in the room, but it was available downstairs.
