The room was smaller than I'd expected, but it was clean, and I liked having a tiny fridge and electric kettle. The staff were really kind and helpful. It's close to Edgware road station, so getting to several tourist spots was easy. There were lots of different restaurants around the hotel, and I enjoyed having food from so many cultures nearby.

The Sonder app made requests easy, and the responses were quick and efficient. Extra towels, toilet paper, tea and coffee were available, though cleaning wasn't included in the room price. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, and the mattress was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size, but the single room with a double bed was small, with nowhere to sit except the bed or a bench, as there was no chair. Getting in through the building and room locks was fiddly at first, but the smart system was fine once we got used to it. Since there's a cafe on the ground floor and no control over who enters the hotel, I sometimes felt a bit exposed. The heating didn't work properly for the first few days, and it took repeated calls to get it fixed. They offered some compensation for the inconvenience. The location was convenient for getting around London, and I'd recommend it for a central stay.

Check-in through the app was really easy, and using entry codes instead of physical keys worked well. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We loved the location. There was a little road noise, but that's to be expected at a central London hotel. We'll come back.

The location makes getting to tubes and buses easy, though the area felt a bit dodgy at night. This place is adequate if you just need somewhere convenient to sleep, but it isn't upscale. We got a deal, and otherwise it wouldn't have been worth the price. The room was starkly furnished, with the space poorly used. A table in the nook would've been more useful than having to pack on the bed or keep our luggage on the floor. The curtains had come off their track and wouldn't close. The fridge was handy, but without a microwave it seemed pointless. The air conditioning was much appreciated. Cleaning was poor. Stains covered the room carpet and remained in the hallway for all three days, even with the housekeeping cart parked beside them. The concierges seemed to be there just to fill a legal requirement and did little or nothing. The bathroom was damp and moldy, with a broken exhaust fan and stained shower grout that could easily have been cleaned.

The location was convenient, right by the tube, with easy access to central London and some good food options nearby. Luggage storage was free, easy and convenient. The key code system worked efficiently and made the place feel safe. The room was okay for sleeping, but not somewhere to spend time. It felt claustrophobic, with barely any room for luggage or personal belongings in either the bedroom or bathroom. The small window faced another room's window and brick walls, with no outside view. You could get a little natural light by sticking your head out and looking up, but there was none inside the room. The website photos were misleadingly edited to make it look much brighter. The poor circulation left it stuffy and humid, even with the air conditioning on. Construction across most of the first floor and part of the second was fairly loud. The ground floor doors stayed open all day for the workers, and a mouse got in once. When we checked out of the main room at 11am, there was no lobby staff, and several guests were waiting for help. I tried to arrange an early check-in because my flight arrived early. They initially offered only another room at the full price of a night's stay, even though I needed it for about two hours. A kind woman on the lobby staff eventually told me I could check into my main room early for free and didn't need to pay for the separate room. Several days after leaving, I still hadn't received the refund for that night, which I'd also had to pay late check-out for. I was promised a full night's refund, but after several calls, staff still hadn't followed up, so I had to keep calling. The hotel was useful as a place to sleep, but not for spending quality time during the day. The price wasn't worth it and the service wasn't up to a basic standard. I wouldn't book again.
