Euston

It's a very busy London station, only a few blocks from St.Pancras Int'l and King's Cross. The three stations serve different parts of the UK and Europe.

The 11am fire and security test notice was on the board, but that doesn't help people who didn't see it, have vision problems, or don't read English. I did see it, but when the test happened, people rushed for the exits, and plenty hadn't known it was just a test. I know the station is being upgraded, but the ground floor seating should have been a priority. Most of the people I saw had suitcases. Whoever planned the area must never have travelled out of Euston with luggage, or has only sat in the 1st Class lounge. Unless you get a seat at the front, you have to squeeze along narrow rows around people, suitcases, and buggies. Seats beside luggage are blocked off, too, so be prepared to stand while you wait for your train. How much do we pay for tickets? This needs proper customer service.

Getting around London Euston Station with luggage was tiring and frustrating. The place felt crowded and stressful, and moving bags through it was uncomfortable, especially for families and tourists with suitcases. For a major railway station, I expected better arrangements for travellers. The walking routes, lifts, escalators, and access to platforms could be managed much better. Signage and passenger flow also need improvement, especially at busy times. People on long-distance trips often have bags, so the station should make it easier to move between entrances, platforms, and the waiting area, with clearer guidance and more support. Compared with other major stations, this one didn't feel very traveller-friendly. For international tourists and families, it adds needless stress before or after a train journey.

No problems today. I do wonder why all the questions assume Central London should have good parking. Most people get there by bus or Tube, and taxis work well for anyone who can't manage either.
