Fairholme Studios

I've stayed there a few times, and whenever I'm in the area, it's my first choice. The studios are cosy and worth much more than they charge. The location is ideal: four minutes on foot from West Kensigton tube station and seven from Barons Court. A busy road with restaurants, shops and bars is only a minute away, but the studios are on a quiet residential street, so sleeping isn't a problem. The ladies who run the place are super nice and sort out any issue straight away, no matter how small.

The room was ready to use, clean, and had a kitchen, which was a nice surprise. The new administrator was lovely and dependable even with my chaotic schedule. It’s easy to find, in a quiet area, and close to bus and train routes, with the city centre within walking distance. I was glad they could extend my stay at such short notice. I’d choose this place whenever I can.

Yulia was a warm, helpful host and very flexible. The rooms were kept clean and in good shape. I had a great stay and would happily come back to 20 Fairholme Road.

The area turned out to be a real plus: two subway stops are close by, about 5 minutes for the District line and 10 for Piccadilly, and the nearby street has plenty going on, including restaurants and Tesco. The studio itself is on a quiet road. I was nervous after reading the reviews once I’d booked, but it wasn’t as bad as I feared. It’s not perfect, with a few things that could be improved, and the neighbor can be loud. The bathroom is small too. Still, for a family of three looking for a reasonable price in London, it worked well, and I’d recommend it.
