We were very happy with the service. We arrived much later than expected, but Kay was lovely and helpful, texting us the entry codes so we could check ourselves in. The bathroom was impressively clean, with a lovely big shower. Our twin room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed one night and I can’t fault it. The walls are quite thin, though, so late sleepers might want earplugs. We could hear the neighbours arguing loudly next door, but it wasn’t a big deal and I enjoyed the stay.

The room, lounge and kitchen were presented really well, so don’t be put off by the outside of the building. I would’ve given five stars if all five light bulbs had worked instead of just two, and if the shower extractor fan had been working. The ceiling is starting to get mouldy.

We never even got to stay, and in our opinion the place was awful. We booked two weeks ahead, then got a text on the day saying the room wasn’t available. When we called, they said there was nothing they could do and our payment hadn’t gone through. The booking said we wouldn’t pay until arrival, so they shouldn’t have tried charging the card anyway. The man on the phone was rude and even hung up on us. Poor communication and a badly run hotel.

Very clean and homely, with food and drink included. The bed was really comfortable. Couldn’t ask for more. I’ll stay again.

Disgusting. We were left with nowhere else to go because everywhere was fully booked. The room had been confirmed on the day I booked it, weeks ago for New Year's Eve, and now I've just been emailed to say it's unavailable. I'm furious.
