Garden Court Hotel

The location and surroundings were good, and the water pressure was good too. Check-in required going online and entering a lot of data on my phone, even though there was a receptionist on site. The rooms were relatively clean but already quite worn out. The elevator rattled, and breakfast was terrible, with little choice and poor quality.

Had a wonderful stay. The room and bed were the perfect size. The restroom was a small bit, but nothing that ruined the review, just a heads up.

I booked at this hotel through Booking.com in late september. The app had a technical issue at the time, so it looked like my booking hadn't gone through and I had to book another hotel. I later found out that my original booking here had gone through and the payment was processed too. I asked the establishment for a refund and explained what happened with the Booking app. Booking customer service helped me with the issue and told me the hotel already had my payment but was refusing to refund it. Hotel staff had plainly lied to me, saying they wouldn't process the payment and booking because of Booking's mistake. Then they stopped responding to my follow-up emails. This hotel has fraudulent practices and shows no consideration for customer service beyond taking your money. Businesses like this shouldn't be supported. I'm reposting this because they required Google to delete my previous review instead of addressing these practices.

Our friend stayed here because it's nearby. It was sufficiently clean, and staff and location are superb. The bathroom door stuck, which gave our friend a mini panic attack. She complained about the shower head, and they replied, “well it is what it is”. I'd recommend it in an emergency, but wouldn't expect much.
