Golders Park Hotel

They offered refreshments, and the team were friendly and nice. Communication was thorough throughout. I'd booked a small room at first, but they offered me a bigger one, which I appreciated. It was very quiet in my experience, and the bed was comfortable. There's parking too, though spaces are limited and it's first come, first served. Thanks for the stay, guys!

The service was great when we got inside, but arriving at night we could barely see the hotel because the front was so dark. The room needed work: the floor was broken, the area beside the bed was dusty, and the bathroom could use attention. The radiator was rusty, and both the toilet and seat were wobbly. We could also hear the neighbours very loudly. If those things were fixed, I'd stay again.

After waiting at reception to check in, I went to the room and found it smelled of smoke, with cobwebs along the ceiling edges. The bathroom sink was blocked. I put up with it because there was never anyone at reception. Not the best.

I had to change rooms twice because the standard was so poor. Water came through the ceiling, there was mould, the windows felt unsafe, the bed linen was dirty and some lights didn't work. Management really don't seem to care. One of the worst hotels I've stayed in. Shame on you.
