The location was fantastic in a very quiet part of London, and the big bed, though made of two beds pushed together, let me sleep well. But I wouldn't stay again unless I had no other choice. I don't want another basement room. This was a work trip, and the room cost over £250. I'd never stayed here, so I thought I'd give it a go. The hotel and room smelled funny and looked very dated, though that may just be my personal preference. Check-in service was slow for London, and the room was basic, with tired furniture and little in the way of amenities. There was a random stereo in one of the cupboards. To get to and from my room, I also had to walk through the restaurant while people were eating.

What was advertised as a Superior Double Room bore no resemblance to the room we got. I booked it with AC listed, but there wasn't any air conditioning. The building was very old and poorly maintained, the room was extremely small, and we found cockroaches inside. The conditions were uninhabitable, so I had to check out early and pay for a different hotel myself. The hotel refused to refund anything despite not providing the listed amenities. I felt completely misled by the poor customer service and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

For two nights from 2 December 2025, I was in room 314, a tiny box right beside the lift and ridiculously expensive for what it offered. The TV was partly hidden by the curtain. There was a portable radiator with its feet missing, plugged into the only available socket. The staff were pleasant, at least.

The hotel and room were nice, and the location was great. With it 30 degrees outside, the room was hot. Opening the windows and using a fan made it somewhat bearable. The WiFi didn't work in the room, and the sofa bed in our room for three was really uncomfortable.
