My family and I had to scramble for somewhere else to stay at the last minute, when availability was low and prices were much worse. Grosvenor Gardens by CAPITAL cancelled our reservation just two weeks before the trip, despite my having booked and paid in full through Booking.com three months earlier. They gave no proper explanation and made no effort to help. Given how close we were to travelling, it’s hard not to wonder if they cancelled so they could relist the property at a higher price. It was unprofessional and disheartening, and a business should honor confirmed bookings and care about the guest experience. I’d strongly caution people before booking, since there’s a real risk of being left without a place to stay.

We'd booked this place for our London trip almost six months ahead, but the host recently cancelled without any explanation. Finding somewhere else at the last minute was stressful and costly. We trusted that a booking made so far in advance would be secure, and the cancellation showed a real lack of reliability and consideration for guests. If you need a dependable place to stay, I wouldn't recommend this host.

After a long flight, we ended up outside the front door with no booking. We’d reserved and paid in full for 7 nights, 3 months ahead, but the host had vanished, didn’t meet us, and the phone was disconnected. Big mistake. WARNING, DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!! 🤬🤬🤬

In June 2025, we prepaid 850aud (Australian dollars) for accommodation booked 2 months ahead, then they cancelled with just 3 days to go before our international arrival. Their customer service is extremely poor. They accept no liability and monopolize the time of genuine customers who want to stay. Absolute joke. I’ll never deal with this chain again. DO NOT STAY HERE, PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS.
