My partner travels to London for work every week, and for years it was hard to find a comfortable, reliable place to stay. Since she discovered the Grove Guest House and met its owner, Hazel, she hasn't booked anywhere else. Hazel is the heart of the place. Her welcome is warm and personal, and her hospitality has made the guest house feel like a second home to us. The house has a world of its own, full of colour, vintage details, and character in every corner. It's clearly a home with love and personal history behind it, not just a business. And there's Cleo, the incredibly handsome, charming star you'll spot in the pictures. The house's atmosphere and Hazel's care make it a special retreat from the bustle of London, a place that feeds the soul.

The rooms were spotless, and the whole place has a really homely feel. Hazel is an icon, so warm and accommodating. It’s also just a five-minute walk from a Crossrail station.

Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and Hazel was lovely with everyone. The place is a great spot to stay, only four minutes on foot from a Victoria Line station. I’ll come back next time I’m in London.

We found this lovely little place within walking distance of the velodrome. There were vegetarian breakfast options, and Hazel welcomed us so warmly and made us feel at home. I’d definitely recommend it.
