We liked the comfortable room and its spot in Shoreditch. There were two things we weren’t happy with: the room was really noisy, so bring earplugs or noise cancelling headphones, and even though we’d booked and checked in ahead of time, the bed for the third person hadn’t been made. We had to do it ourselves.

The staff were lovely and quick to respond. Although it’s in a busy area, the apartment felt peaceful and comfortable, and the location was great.

We found the rooms well equipped and insulated from noise, though I couldn’t find an ironing board to go with the iron. The place is directly above several clubs, so keep that in mind if you expect to come and go late at night. There was construction happening upstairs, with clouds of dust drifting down. Someone was sweeping as we headed out, which sent the dust swirling into the air. Anyone with asthma could have a difficult time with that. The early check in fee was also £50, which is crazy. Entry is automatic, but even arriving five minutes early means you can’t get in unless you pay, or pay £15 just to leave your bags.
