Hammersmith Oasis

I liked having a fridge and kitchenette, and the room was just the right size for one person. It was generally quiet, apart from some really noisy upstairs neighbours. The bathroom let the place down: the shower ran cold for about 20 seconds, then stayed hot, with no way to adjust it. Hardly any water came out of the shower head, and it seemed to be leaking. The room was hot, but it was summer, and I expected that since some London buildings aren’t equipped for the heat. I was glad to have two fans. The location worked well for a solo trip outside central London, with access to four different train lines. I enjoyed my stay and would come back.

The coded door was nice, though checking in at another building was a pain. Parking and access: 2/10. The room and bed were both 8/10, and the bathroom was an 8 too, with a nice shower. Plugs by the bed get 10/10.

Everything was easy and stress-free, from check-in through to late checkout the next day. I called reception ahead of time, and they extended checkout by two hours. I stayed just one night, but the room had everything I needed to feel at home. The location is incredibly convenient on the west side of London, with easy access to tube stations and buses. I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting London and want to be in that part of the city. Thank you.

The room was incredibly warm, even with the heating turned off, which wasn’t ideal for me since I prefer it cooler. That may be a plus for others, though. I’ve stayed in room2 before, so I knew what to expect: it was spotless, with a great layout and all the facilities you need. The apartment/room was very well equipped and designed for such a small space. Great location, very good stay, and excellent value for money.
