After weeks travelling around England and Scotland, this was my favourite place we stayed. The room was spacious, and I loved the look of the place. The location was great too, far enough from the tourist-heavy areas but near the Underground and bus stops. The restaurant and pub downstairs were both convenient and delicious. We couldn't have asked for better hospitality, and we'll stay here again on our next trip.

I had Room 3 for my second year at the Ideal Home Show in London. After a bad experience at last year's event, I was nervous, but The Hand and Flower was a world of difference. It's one of the best hotels I've stayed in across many event trips. The staff were fantastic, the food was excellent, and the art deco rooms were beautifully decorated and impressively spacious for central London. The old sash windows have secondary glazing, so despite four windows facing the road, street noise was minimal and I slept soundly. The bed was comfortable, and I couldn't hear the pub downstairs. If you're going to an event at Olympia, I'd book dinner here. The food is great and reasonably priced, and breakfast was amazing too. There were some small room issues, none deal-breakers: the light above the bed flickered, a couple of bathroom fixtures felt loose, one blind stayed down, and another blind's chain wasn't attached to the wall as it should be for safety. There was a small patch of damaged plasterboard by the door, and some drawer handles felt sticky. The decor, room size, especially the bathroom, quiet, and comfortable bed still made it a very good stay. Thanks to Carlos for letting me leave my bag while I was at Olympia. He and the rest of the staff were so friendly. I'd choose the hotel again for future events.

This place will stay in our minds. We had a great time and were so glad we stayed. It's a lovely, very London kind of place, and I loved the smell of wood and age in the building. The owner is really cool, and the service is fantastic. They also serve a traditional English breakfast that really hits the spot. Just be aware there are lots of stairs, as in many London buildings. That wasn't a problem for us, and it's part of being in London. I think they also have rooms for people with diverse needs. We highly recommend it!

We went to Olympia for Ceramic Art London, and a friend found The Hand & Flower. Dave served us and was such a friendly, lovely chap. We liked the pub so much we came back for both lunch and dinner. We hadn't realised it had rooms, so we'll definitely look into staying there next year.

Breakfast was fantastic, with loads of egg choices, including Benedict and Shatsika, plus pastries, yogurts, and more. David greeted us and was another awesome chap. We got a warm welcome from Jaz when we arrived, and his service that evening was wonderful. We enjoyed afternoon tea at The Ritz and even had a hamper of cakes made up for him because we thought so highly of him. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, a real luxury in London. The hotel is easy to reach on the number 9 bus, whose stop is outside and route goes past Harrods and The Ritz. We booked based on the reviews, and this is the best hotel we've stayed at on our London visits. Highly, highly recommend 👌
