Harefield Manor Hotel

We’ve already booked another stay and can’t wait to come back. We were visiting family and going out for the night, and the location was handy, with the station, petrol pump, Tesco Express, and Asda all nearby. We liked having our own little bungalow-type room, which felt private. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was good, and the bed was comfy, though it really needs a mattress protector. We slept well anyway. Breakfast was lovely and decent quality.

We stayed from 23-26 April. The staff were friendly and helpful when we had a few key card problems. The room was okay and bearable, clean and pleasant, though it could use a little maintenance and TLC. It got a bit hot, and there were lots of moths in the room on the second night, but they were gone by the third. The tea and coffee had been topped up, the cups were clean, and the water was hot. Reviews make it sound worse than it is. I’d still put it on my list of hotels to stay at again.

The buffet breakfast was hot, the bathroom spotless, and the place was clean. Sure, it’s dated, but the staff were polite. For the price, there’s not much to complain about. I’m not sure what the bad reviews are about.

The rooms were okay, but didn’t make much of an impression. They could be more comfortable and better quality, though at the hotel’s affordable price that’s understandable. The good value stood out, especially with breakfast included. The breakfast had good variety and quality, and the bar prices were surprisingly reasonable. The staff were a real highlight, friendly, welcoming, and ready to help, which kept the atmosphere warm and comfortable throughout my stay. I had a pleasant time and would recommend it as a budget-friendly option with good service, breakfast, and value.
