Hausd - Piccadilly Circus

The lift has been broken, and I’ve spent 8 hours calling their “emergency line.” The receptionist keeps saying nothing can be done. I have two big suitcases and a broken arm, and I don’t know what to do.

The customer service was extremely unprofessional, which is a shame. I booked through the hausd website, entered all my payment details, and completed an ID check. Several days later, after no confirmation arrived, I called, but they said they couldn’t discuss it over the phone. I emailed instead and got a reply that looked like an automated message but was clearly written by a person. It said the reservation didn’t fit their listing policies. That’s very strange when I made the booking on their own website. Maybe they made a mistake and listed the apartment too cheaply at 200 gbp per night, though that doesn’t seem so low and they could have just said so. Or maybe they didn’t like my name, I guess.

The owners communicated really well, so finding and getting into the apartment was easy, even in the middle of the night. It’s right in the heart of London, near Piccadilly, Leicester Square, and Chinatown. The place has two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living room, and a kitchen, with room for 4 or 5 people.

The flat was noisy and poorly maintained, and cleaning and client service were lacking.
