Heathrow Stay

The pub plays music until 2am, so sleeping here is hard. The rooms and toilets weren't clean, and the staff didn't seem to care about customers' concerns. It was the most disappointing place I've stayed. If the low price is tempting you, think twice. It's not worth it.

The window in my room wouldn't close, and when I reported it within the first 10 minutes, staff tried but couldn't fix it. I asked to move, but after 30 minutes they said there was no other room and the window couldn't be repaired. Since it's on a main road, traffic noise was bad, on top of the bar music downstairs. The hotel and pub share one reception. I cancelled as they suggested, with the understanding I'd get a full refund. Then Booking.com told me the manager would only refund part of it because I'd been there an hour, despite my raising the problem right away and not getting what I paid for. Booking.com tried calling and emailing without getting a reply, and said to wait 48 hours for the hotel. After that went by, Booking.com sent me to the hotel, while the manager told me to speak to Booking.com. The manager was respectful, but I found the boss stingy, greedy, pathetic, and disrespectful. I should've read the reviews before booking this nightmare. Don't expect a full refund, and don't expect a shower or toilet in your room. There were drunk people everywhere, so it didn't feel suitable for professionals or families. I regret booking just because it was cheap, and I'll keep warning people about the place.

My flight was delayed by just 10 minutes, but they wouldn't let me check in that night. I ended up spending the whole night at the airport and never got a full refund. The woman was very rude, and the staff showed no respect. It's also a long way from the airport. I'd recommend staying away.

The location was fine, but for £44 we'd gladly have paid a little more to stay somewhere else. The room was small and untidy, with just one small towel for the two of us until we asked for more. Carpets, stairs, and shared bathrooms were all dirty or poorly kept. There was no clear separation between pub and hotel when we arrived. The woman behind the bar had to handle everything, and we felt sorry for her. The owner was drinking with the customers and offered her very little support. I rarely leave a bad review, and we've stayed in plenty of budget hotels, but I'd only use this one if there were no other options.
