Helena Bed And Breakfast

We had a lovely two-week stay with Helena. The breakfast was generous, fresh, and satisfying, and gave us a good start before heading out each day. Helena's bed and breakfasts is a warm, clean, tidy guesthouse near two main bus stops with frequent service. It’s also easy to reach two tube stations in zone 2, Elephant&Castle and London Bridge Station. We’ll come back and recommend it to friends visiting London.

Peckham is an interesting, very multicultural area, and we found it absolutely fine. Helena and Jessica were lovely, kind, and helpful, and gave us a cheerful welcome. We loved our little room and the delicious breakfast, with fresh food, toast, and a choice of tea or coffee, everything we needed. We might stay again if we can save up for another London trip. It’s such an exciting city with lovely people.

I needed somewhere at the last minute and found a warm welcome, a clean place, and good facilities. It’s comfortable and well placed for transport links. A little gem for a stay.

I’m writing this for my mum. The mattress was comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful, and Helena was kind at check-in. But breakfast is only served at 9.00 am, even if you need to get up early or have an appointment. Helena asks what time you want it, but doesn’t seem willing to open the kitchen before 9.00. The kitchen stays locked all night, so there’s no way to get a glass of water except from the shared toilet’s tap. The whole house was cold, and I couldn’t shower because the bathroom was freezing. At night, you don’t know where Helena is, as she seems to disappear. This was our second booking at Helena' B&B, and I hope this review helps her be more flexible. Christian
