Hendon Hall

My husband has Parkinson’s Disease, and I was really struggling to care for him at home. He’s flourishing at Signiture, and I can visit every day or take a day away knowing he’s safe and happy. The rooms are glorious, and the restaurant meals are healthy and nutritious. The catering team will happily try to make something that isn’t on the menu if you’d like it. The staff care is second to none. I can’t rate the place highly enough and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Thank you to everyone at Signiture.

The staff are the real highlight here: such kind, caring people, including the extra-attentive care some residents need. The food is average in my view, though there are different menus and other choices if those don’t suit. The place itself is attractive and clean, with pleasant rooms, quiet spots to relax, a cinema, spa, hairdressers, coffee area and a nice restaurant. The garden is well kept and has comfortable furniture. There’s entertainment each day and sometimes trips out. It stays warm in winter and cool in summer. I’d recommend Hendon Hall.

We happened to visit Hendon Hall during a staff-organised event for residents and their families. The staff gave us a warm welcome, and we were struck by how happy and involved the residents seemed. Everything was clean and the decor was superb. It felt more like a five-star luxury hotel than a care home.

I visit regularly and would be thrilled to live here when I’m old enough. The decor is stunning, and the activities are on another level. Residents seem really happy, as do the staff, and management and the team are helpful too. What an amazing care home.
