The room was small, but clean and pleasant, and worked well for a stay with dogs. There’s a large garden straight off the room, shared between two rooms. Those rooms use a separate entrance beside the main one, though the door is very difficult to shut and makes a really loud noise. There’s no cutlery apart from teaspoons. It’s an unstaffed hotel, so you contact staff on WhatsApp, and you can ask for a dog bed.

I’m so grateful for the three times you’ve hosted me, always with such grace and patience. The people here, especially Alena & Emilian ❤️, are truly thoughtful and go out of their way to help. The rooms have plenty of character and the location is spot on. Thank you for making each stay so lovely ❤️

The river view from our room was lovely, and despite being opposite Queens Promenade, the room stayed quiet. It’s a great spot for walks along the river, with Kingston’s shops, facilities, cafes, bars, swans and boats close by. Mrs. Crawley is a warm, welcoming host, and her scrambled eggs are the best I’ve ever had. Breakfast was great and nothing was too much trouble. The place is pretty and reasonably priced. We’ll stay again.

I’ve tried the single, ensuite double and non-ensuite twin rooms on different visits. Each has been tidy, clean and comfortable, with a TV and tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast is included, and I like being able to choose what I want in the cooked breakfast. The old building has rather steep stairs and slightly uneven floors, so anyone with limited mobility would need to take care. A good-value B&B in Kingston that I’d recommend.
