Accessibility is the biggest problem. If you have a heavy bag or use a wheelchair, you're stuck with stairs, and it's hard to understand why there isn't another option these days. A door person to help arriving guests might have made this easier. I spent a few days here, went to Paris for a few days, then came back for a couple more. The first room was small and tired, especially for the price. It had two single beds, a missing piece in the shower, no reading light for bed, just one towel and no bath mat, and a poor shower-bath. Breakfast was good, but they'd run out of English breakfast tea. What self-respecting British hotel runs out of black tea? On my second stay, my room still wasn't ready at 5 p.m., so they gave me what I think was an upgrade. It was much better: a double bed, more space, a cleaner room, and a better shower. The room can make or break your stay.

The bed was a bit too soft for our backs, and we would have preferred a medium-firm one. Housekeeping did a great job, with nothing to fault. For seeing central London, the location is ideal, with every place we wanted to visit no more than 45 minutes away by public transport. Most of all, thanks to Mr. MASSIMO FRAGETTA, the head of concierge, who went above and beyond with his service. Would I recommend the hotel? Absolutely.

Monjur was friendly and supportive throughout my stay, and deserves a special thanks. The hotel is in an excellent location, with welcoming staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended!

I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s been great every time. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the beds are comfortable. The staff are friendly and courteous, and they sort out any issues quickly. Special shoutout to Amanda for going above and beyond. Highly recommend it.

The location is handy, with the railway station within walking distance, but I wouldn't stay here again. The rooms are small, and the hotel claims to be four star, though it felt like less than two to me. It’s right on the road and the windows don’t block the noise, so I had a sleepless night with traffic outside. Since I was on the ground floor, I could also feel traffic vibrations and pollution in the room. Don’t accept room 089.
