Hilton London Wembley

The location near the OVO arena was excellent after the concert, and I slept well in the very comfy bed. Our room was spacious, and when I asked reception for more hot chocolate, they brought it up. I’d booked a king room and birthday package for my partner’s birthday, and we were warmly welcomed at check-in. They even upgraded our room. Inside, we found Prosecco, cake, confetti, a personalised handwritten card, balloons and a little towel candle. We were overjoyed by the gesture, and really enjoyed the cake. I may have misheard the receptionist about getting something from the minibar for free, though, because I was charged £12 for chocolate honeycomb. It was tasty, just a little expensive. Breakfast was delicious, with cooked food, cereal, meat, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, bakery items and condiments. I had several plates to get my money’s worth, plus a very nice hot chocolate. This was my first time trying a Hilton, for a concert, and they treated us like royalty from start to finish. I usually stay at Travelodge or Premier Inn, so I can see why people choose Hilton. It felt like luxury to me. I’m gutted I didn’t have time to try the pool and gym, and I’ll definitely be back.

The area has plenty of everyday conveniences within easy walking distance, including restaurants and supermarkets. For me, Hilton Wimbledon is one of London’s better-value hotel choices, especially if you travel often and want a luxury-class stay without central London prices. It’s a relatively new property, with modern, well-kept facilities and a comfortable, premium feel. Public transport gets you into Central London in under 30 minutes, so it works well for both business and leisure.

The room was amazing, and Hussain made check-in a lovely start to the stay. He was welcoming, friendly and professional from the moment I arrived, explaining everything clearly and making sure I felt comfortable and looked after. His warm, positive manner made a great first impression, and it was clear he cared about providing good service. Check-ins can feel rushed sometimes, but this one was relaxed and stress-free. I really appreciate Hussain’s kindness and professionalism.

Jonathon was friendly, professional and attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. His service made our stay much more enjoyable. The hotel has a luxurious feel, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s a great spot for shopping, and families with young kids will like that there’s a playground just 1 min walk away. The poolside has a cozy feel too. The bathrooms could use a bit of an upgrade, maybe just new lighting, but they were clean and tidy otherwise. I’d happily choose this hotel again.
