Holland House - Hostel

The manager was very helpful, and the location is fantastic. It's good value, and I hope to come back soon. The evening meals were good value too, while breakfast was basic. One thing that could use attention: my bedroom door was very noisy and needed oiling.

The meals at LHA Holland House have been consistently good, and residents have noticed the recent improvements in both quality and choice. There are better vegetarian and pescatarian options now, too. You can see the chef has put real effort into making the food better, and it's much appreciated.

It's an easy walk from Victoria Station, so getting around London is simple. Holland Hostel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with secure lockers and tidy shared areas. I also enjoyed the social feel of the common spaces, where it was easy to meet people. Staff were friendly and ready to help. A good budget option in central London that I'd recommend.

The weekend breakfast was good, and staff were always available. The location is handy, especially if you're travelling late and need a bus to the airport. My roommate was lovely, and we worked around each other's schedules without disturbing one another. The room was clean and well heated, though the bed wouldn't be comfortable for a long stay and the pillow was very thin. The toilets were often dirty because of the residents. I also heard the room below mine had mice, but I didn't see any.
