The location worked really well for us, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was very good. We stayed one night after an event nearby. Still, the room’s size and quality didn’t feel right for the price, even allowing for London. There was quite a lot of wear on the furniture, more like what I’d expect at a summer holiday hotel than a fancy London location. It wasn’t awful, just not what I expected. Honestly, I’m not sure I’d stay again.

The team is good, but things felt disorganized, chaotic, and maybe a little nervous. I’ll probably come back anyway, since the hotel has a good feel to it. Breakfast took ages: I tried twice and timed it, waiting 12 mins to order and another 35 mins to be served. From walking in to eating, it was at least 45 mins each time. If you’re in a hurry, there are plenty of other options towards marble arch. The shower leaks, and the dusty shelves left my black clothes looking dirty.

As a member, I was shocked by the new rules in 2026: no more than one guest at a time, with visits capped at an hour. If you’ve brought business associates to a meeting, ushering them out after 55 minutes hardly seems good for your professional profile. I assume the new management thought this made sense. Please sort it out, HG, and consider involving people who have actually run a business in these decisions.

It was very quiet at night, even right by Marble Arch, and there are lots of shops and nice restaurants close by. The staff were friendly and breakfast was wonderful. We stayed for a long weekend at the hotel and Members' club. The rooms were a bit too small, and the lighting wasn’t enough for dark winter evenings.
