The location worked well, and getting around London by public transport was easy. Both evenings I stayed, they served free vegan dinners, which suited me perfectly. It was my first hostel and my first solo trip, and I felt welcome and safe. I had a little panic on the first night, but the staff and volunteers were kind and helpful, especially Chloe. This is definitely a social party hostel, with outings every night, so it may not suit someone who doesn't drink much. I slept great the first night. The second, I had to get up early for my bus and only got a few hours because music from downstairs came through my earplugs. I'm a light sleeper, though, so it might not bother everyone. Otherwise, I had a great stay. Thanks guys!

The staff were so friendly that I've never felt more welcome at a hostel. The area seemed nice on the short walk from the station, and I had a great experience overall. My friend and I shared one of the decent-sized lockers without a problem. I didn't stay long enough to try the excursions and events the staff offer, but it was lovely to see them doing that. In the 12-bed rooms, at least, there aren't curtains around the beds, which are triple bunks if you're curious, so you feel a bit exposed to the other people sleeping there. I'd happily stay again.

Free dinners every night, a pub downstairs, and activities day and night make it easy to meet lots of people. The staff are super friendly too. It's close to public transport and shops, and near busy Camden town when you want to go out, but the area itself is quiet enough that traffic won't keep you awake. Amazing hostel. I'd stay again next time I'm in London, 10/10.

Rita from the pub was my favorite, she's the sweetest, and all the staff were really welcoming. The other guests were great too, and I got along so well with everyone that the price felt easier to overlook. It is a little expensive for what they offer. The building is very old and can look dirty, but it was cleaned regularly and the bathroom was impeccable whenever I used it. The dinners were simple but filling, and although the beds squeaked a bit, we slept fine. It's a quiet area, with a club and market within walking distance. The location isn't the most practical, but the subway is ten minutes away. A good stay.

Most of the staff are genuinely nice and make you feel welcome, especially the native English speakers. It's a laid-back hostel near the underground, overground, and several bus stops, so the touristy parts of London are easy to reach. The rooms are okay, though some have triple bunks that aren't mentioned on booking websites, and they may be freezing in winter. The bathroom seems recently renovated but is mixed and has no heating. Free dinner is a nice extra, and breakfast costs £5. I would stay again and recommend the place, as long as you don't expect a perfect hostel with the best facilities. It isn't the 10/10 some websites give it. I suspect those ratings come from staff asking guests for 10/10 reviews in exchange for a free night, because the boss seems very focused on money.
