Hotel CG London

There was no privacy. At 9:45 am, while I was changing and with checkout not until 10:30 am, someone opened my door without knocking. The staff seemed untrained and unprofessional. They also charge for changing sheets and towels, and you have to wait at least 48 hours into your stay. The service was horrible.

We could park right outside, which was perfect with children. The staff were helpful, and the rooms were clean with decent decor. They also accommodated me bringing a travel cot after it turned out not to fit in the room I’d booked. I’d definitely recommend it.

The accommodation was a good value and convenient for my meeting the next morning. It was modern, clean and tidy, and up to an excellent standard. I’d booked at the last minute in the early evening because of a short-notice meeting. I found the owner’s mobile number on the website and asked about checking in very late. They were helpful and arranged for me to collect the key from a lockbox. The driveway looked as if it might only be wide enough for one car, but it was available.

Our room was clean and had a lovely sunset view, though the toilet and shower area felt a bit cramped. We were in the top room in the loft, which would be difficult if you have mobility issues. We found out after arriving that the place was being renovated. Evelina was lovely to meet and talk to, and the workers were considerate about not starting too early. An affordable stay near the main strip of Golders Green.
