The view was beautiful, and the location was ideal for exploring the area and enjoying everything the destination has to offer. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of variety and high-quality products. The waiters were always smiling and keen to help, while the lobby staff were kind and attentive from the moment I arrived. Gaby at the reception deserves a special thank you for welcoming us so warmly. It was a great stay from start to finish, and I’d definitely come back. Many thanks to the whole team for making my trip so enjoyable!
There were plenty of breakfast options, and the room was spacious and clean. The facilities were good, and the staff were very helpful. It’s close to local sights and connections to Kings Cross Station. I was impressed and will use the hotel again on my next trip. 5/5, would highly recommend.
I’ve stayed at a RIU hotel before, and London Victoria worked perfectly for getting around. It’s accessible by all forms of transport. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern, and the morning breakfast was always good with lots of choices for everyone. I highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting London. You can’t go wrong.
The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the housekeeping in it was good. That was probably the highlight. But the repeated knocks from housekeeping before checkout were frustrating. If checkout is at 12pm, guests should be able to enjoy the room until then without feeling pushed to leave early. When I called guest services for water in my upgraded room, they told me to go down to the bar or walk to Sainsbury's and buy it myself. I was surprised there was no complimentary water. I’d also contacted the hotel before booking about my dietary needs and was assured they could accommodate them. Once there, nothing had been arranged. I only asked for a fried egg, but the manager refused, citing “hotel policy”. Guests should know before booking if the hotel can’t or won’t handle basic dietary requests. The buffet was another disappointment. The food was very average, much of it seemed to be cooked in large batches with little seasoning, and the chicken was especially bland. It didn’t meet the standard the hotel claims to offer. At first glance, the place looks impressive and tries hard to feel luxurious, but there’s little substance behind that image. Service, attention to detail, and the guest experience fell short. I travel often for work and review hotels, so I’ve seen a lot of properties and have a good sense of hospitality standards. Based on this stay, I’d call it a 2-star experience rather than what it advertises. Poor service, ignored dietary needs, and disappointing food mean I won’t return or recommend it.
Breakfast had a good range of buffet food, and the location was incredibly handy. The staff were lovely, and the beds were so comfortable. My only gripe was the coffee from the breakfast machines, it was unbelievably bitter and terrible. Luckily, there’s a pret just across the road, so I bought coffee there before heading to breakfast. I’d definitely come back.
