The staff were outstanding, friendly, helpful and very professional. Everyone impressed us, especially Catalina, who gave us a really friendly welcome and a cheery greeting each time we passed through reception. She was helpful throughout our visit and is a brilliant advertisement for the hotel and brand. The modern rooms are very comfortable. They're small, but the comfortable bed, quiet room and good bathroom more than made up for it. We slept great both nights. The hotel is right behind Shoreditch High St station, or about a 10-minute walk from Liverpool Street.

We didn't have any issues with the room, and check-in was quick. The key card came out of the machine at the entrance, and it was easy to navigate around the hotel. I didn't really speak to the staff. It's a good hotel, nothing special, and some people might like it. Our room was for two, but there were towels for only one person. The window didn't feel useful either, since there was a wall right opposite it and no view.

The area is lively, with plenty of places to eat and drink, and breakfast is very good value. Even though our room backed onto a rail track, the double, double glazing kept noise to a minimum. The staff were great, and the London rates were very reasonable. The room lighting is my only minor criticism. It's basically all or nothing, but that's not a deal breaker. I'd have no hesitation about staying again.

On my second London trip here, the staff were friendly and helpful. We recognised a familiar face at reception, so they must keep their staff happy. Lounge staff were hard-working and very pleasant. Cocktails are now 2 for £14, up from 2 for £12 last year. Our room was nice and clean, and we had a window we could see out of, not a frosted one. The one issue was a coffee stain around the rim of the shelf next to the bed. It hadn't been wiped after the previous visitor, so I had to clean it myself. Other than that, everything was really good. It was a great stay for three nights.

Housekeeping kept the room spotless and comfortable every day. The receptionists were always kind, professional and ready to help with a smile, and the bar staff were friendly, attentive and made sure everything was right. I want to thank the whole team for their thoughtfulness, kindness and availability throughout my stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and looked after. My time in London was even more special because of their care. I couldn't be happier with the stay, would absolutely recommend the hotel, and look forward to coming back. Thanks again for everything!
