Hyde Park Court Hotel

I’d read the comments and had some concerns, and once I arrived I could see that some of them were true. The hotel is clearly being renovated little by little, but I didn’t have anything to complain about during my stay. They replaced the towels every other day, changed the sheets too, and brought me extra towels as soon as I asked. It was pleasant for families. Most of the other guests I saw were two families, and every room has its own private bathroom. There are a few small things they could improve: replace the shower hoses and heads, perhaps with ones from SHEIN or Temu, and add toilet brushes, which matter to Europeans. The windows should be repaired so they can open and let you enjoy the pleasant view. Sanding, painting and varnishing the breakfast tables would make them easier to clean and give them a fresh look.

We stayed with my family and sister, and were given a very warm welcome. The staff were friendly and helpful, and shared great ideas for things to do nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and we felt safe there, including for the children. The price was amazing for the UK, and it’s easy to reach, close to the train station and surrounded by good restaurants. If I come to London again, I’ll definitely stay here.

The only good thing about this place is how close it is to the station. The building is old with NO sound deadening, so we could hear everything other guests were doing. The bathrooms were dated and poorly equipped. Staff were rude at check-in, and they charged us twice for the room. I was told to request a refund through the booking agent, then got an email saying the host had denied it. A complete joke and a con. AVOID.

The staff were lovely and so helpful, and they gave us a warm welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is on a nice, quiet street close to the train station. The location was perfect and really convenient, with good breakfast and an amazing price for the hotel. Very good.
