We arrived with our Booking.com confirmation and were told there was no booking. Even though we were clearly distressed, reception showed no concern and told us to contact Booking.com. We had to ask for a manager, who stayed behind reception for about 15 minutes before coming out and offering us a room down the road in their “suites.” It cost £300 for one night, and the room was in horrific condition, with broken appliances, dirty cracked floorboards, and ants everywhere. The hotel manager rolled her eyes and made faces to her coworker while we thanked her for “saving us” with this awful alternative. The staff were rude and unprofessional. I rarely leave reviews, but I want to spare someone else this experience. An expensive necklace was left in the room, and staff say they have no record of finding it. I was also sent an email with a broken review button, as if they knew I'd want to complain. I wouldn't wish this hotel, its unkind and untrained staff, or its dire rooms on anyone.

We liked the location, right by Hyde Park and two underground stations, with restaurants and shops close by. The staff were all very friendly, and breakfast had a really nice selection; we ate there both mornings. Our room was clean, with comfortable beds, a kettle and tea and coffee, an ironing board, and a mini fridge. The shower was good too. The only reason I'm taking off a star is the rooms are rather small, so they might not suit a longer stay. For us, it was fine, and I'd stay again.

The rooms can feel warm and they're a bit small, but Hyde Park International is still a good choice. It's in a perfect spot, close to the tube and local services.

The room was very small, and mine was a single-bed room, so I wish it had been a little bigger. Still, the location was lovely, the rooms are well maintained, and the staff were very helpful. Five stars for them.

I was so pleased to find we'd been given a ground-level room when we came back from seeing the city. I'm disabled and use a rollator, and we hadn't requested one in advance. We arrived early, and the staff took care of our luggage while we went out. They were incredibly kind and helpful with little things that meant a lot to me, and made the stay even better. The room was nice and clean, with good tea and biscuits, lovely soaps in the bathroom, and a really comfortable bed. It was such a lovely stay from the 23rd to the 26th of November 2005. If I return to London, I'll definitely stay here again. The famous sights are easy to get to, and Hyde Park and Nothing Hill are within walking distance.
