The staff were super nice despite a pretty chaotic three-night stay, especially the woman I spoke to later on the second day, who I think was the manager. She offered a full refund for that night before I even asked. The rooms were inexpensive and fine, and the staff were wonderful, but it never felt completely clean or relaxing. I kept thinking about the radiator and past reviews mentioning pests. Our first night was uneventful. The rooms were small but cozy, the beds were clean, though the bathroom was grimy and the TV remote sticky. At around 9 PM on the second night, the radiator started hammering loudly enough to shake the floor. The night clerk was kind but couldn't explain what was happening or reassure us. After an hour he got it to stop with a “trick,” but it woke us again at 6 AM. When I went down, nobody was at the desk, and I felt awkward ringing the bell several times. I eventually found the clerk in the basement. He tried the trick again, but it didn't work, so we moved rooms. The second room was much bigger and cleaner, but its remote was dirty too. There was also loud jack-hammering right outside the window. That's no fault of the workers, of course.

We really appreciated that the children had a room directly across from ours, which made this a comfortable, family-friendly stay during our Christmas holiday in London. The hotel felt warm and welcoming, and its location was very convenient. When we mentioned a smoke smell in the hall, staff dealt with it immediately and professionally, which gave us confidence in their service. Breakfast was simple but more than enough to start a day in London. We took home a very pleasant experience to the Netherlands and would consider staying here again on a future London visit.

Margarita went out of her way to help when I realized I'd left my computer adapter and cable at home. She found a replacement for me without any extra cost, and I really appreciated it. The service was consistently good, breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were spotlessly clean during my five-day work week in late January 2026. The area is very central and transport is extremely close. I'll definitely be back and recommend the place without reservation.

A surprisingly quiet area, and we could sleep with the window open without hearing a sound. It's close to Paddington, the breakfast was very good, and the service excellent. The rooms are small, but that's London, and the price is excellent. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was good, and a room for two under £100 near Paddington Station is good value. I'd only stay again if we could get an upper-floor room. We were in basement room b3, where the heating was off overnight and the room lost warmth through the basement walls. There was a constant low rumble from the underground until about 1am, then it started again around 6.30am. That's the missing star.
