The only person who smiled and wished me a nice day was the cleaning lady. Hats off to her! The staff were otherwise absolutely socially dysfunctional, and cleanliness in the areas outside the rooms could improve a lot. Please don’t leave the breakfast orange and apple juice in the sun by the window. The corridors also need proper carpet cleaning. Apart from that, all good. You get what you pay for.

The location was the one good thing: it’s near the airport and plenty of good restaurants, and the housekeeping staff were good too. But our three-night booking turned into a nightmare. The rooms were tiny, with barely enough space to move around, especially with luggage. The air conditioner seemed to be there in name only. It rattled from time to time and was fixed at a temperature we couldn’t adjust, so it was much too hot inside. The bathroom and toilet were separate, but neither had a proper lock.

I’m staying here now, and it’s been extremely disappointing. There isn’t even a kettle in the room, a basic feature you’d expect in most hotels. It might sound like a small thing, but it says a lot about the care and attention guests receive. A kettle is part of basic hospitality, not a luxury. I’ve worked in hotels for most of my life, so I know what standards should look like. This place falls well short. It feels like costs are being cut while guests still pay premium prices. Given the overheads they charge, providing the basics should be a given. Honestly, it’s disgraceful.

The staff were very nice, although I barely interacted with them. The rest of the stay was depressing, and we paid to move to another hotel because we couldn’t face another night here. You might be fine if you can put up with all of this, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. I know you get what you pay for, but I’ve stayed in better hotels for less. The room handle was broken, and I had to keep trying to get the key card to work. The bed was uncomfortable, the toilet was in a cupboard, and planes flew constantly day and night. The area felt rough at night, and the room itself was pretty bleak.
