ibis London Greenwich

The room was clean and fine, but otherwise pretty unremarkable. My request for a quiet room, such as at the end of the hall or at the back of the building, wasn't taken into account. There's no air conditioning, and the lounge is very small. The TV had a clunky interface and wasn't connected to the network, so I couldn't stream from my device even though the feature was there.

The lobby has a billiards table and foosball, which are nice touches, and the room has a good-sized TV. The interior feels new and updated. Greenwich has plenty to see nearby, and central London isn't far away. One day there was a slight sulphur smell from the drains. It went away after I ran some water and didn't return, so it may have been a one-off.

Reception staff were welcoming, but the hotel's service overall was disappointing and felt like it had lost its touch with hospitality. The rooms were small and cramped, and I wouldn't recommend eating here. The food is a definite no. If you can, I'd suggest looking at other options. 🙏🏻

Aman made check-in smooth and gave us a lovely welcome after a long journey. The reception team were warm and professional from the moment we arrived. We stayed four nights at the ibis hotel in Greenwich, and the room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, even better than I expected. It was quick and easy to get to and from the O2 arena for our concert. After checkout, we could leave our luggage for a few hours and explore without carrying it around. Storing two backpacks cost £3, which seemed reasonable. I'd happily stay again and recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, reliable place in Greenwich, especially for a visit to the O2.
