Keysan House 5

I’m writing this on my way home after a failed appointment, with nowhere to stay in London. If zero stars were an option, I’d give it zero. Keysan house had confirmed my booking, and I arrived at the right time, but they still wouldn’t let me in. I waited outside for an hour, rang the bell over and over, called the number provided five times with no answer, and emailed without getting a reply. They hadn’t given me a door code either, and nobody let me in or responded. The garden area outside also looked disgusting and neglected, with unemptied bins and flies everywhere. I’m sure this was a scam, and I don’t think this is a credible Airbnb property. I’ve reported the awful experience to Barclay card and Boooking.com and am asking for a full refund because they failed to provide the service. I hope this warns anyone thinking of booking to avoid the same dreadful experience.

Right behind KOKO, this clean, tidy hostel is in a great spot in central Camden, close to the metro and bus stops. There’s a shared kitchen and bathroom, and they keep up with maintenance and cleaning. I’d highly recommend it, 10 out of 10.

The only real downside is one bathroom shared by five bedrooms. The neighborhood is lively in the evening, though quiet at night, and shops and the metro are less than 200 meters from the apartment. The room was comfortable, bright, and clean, and it’s excellent value for money. I speak and understand very little English, but the owner was so kind and patient while helping me find the code to get into the house. A huge thank you to him.

My reservation was cancelled on the very day I arrived in London, with no explanation and no refund. They never answered my messages either. Terrible experience, I wouldn’t recommend them. It’s a scam.
