I’ve been regularly disturbed for months by noise from this accommodation’s gardens late at night. Loud shouting and screaming happen frequently, sometimes with music, well past 11pm and often into the early hours. A few times it has carried on until 2-3am, making it extremely hard to sleep. It’s disappointing that there’s so little consideration for the neighbours living around the property. People in a residential area shouldn’t have to put up with repeated disturbances like this. I hope management takes the complaints seriously, enforces its quiet-hour rules, and makes sure guests respect the local community. Until the noise is properly dealt with, my experience as a neighbour remains very negative.

I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful Kensington building, very close to Earl's Court tube station, which made it easy to get around London and see the sights. I chose to visit The Natural History museum. Wow, I hadn’t been since a school trip, and it was so much more modernised for 2025.

This is very basic accommodation, but great value for money. The canteen food was excellent, access was secure, and the staff were welcoming. I booked it as a 'hotel' through a website, but it isn’t a hotel. It’s still a great-value place to stay.

The people at Lee Abbey made our stay the best part. Whenever we needed something, the staff sorted it out straight away with a bright smile. Their manner is unmatched, even by hotels with lots of stars. We can’t wait to visit again. Stepping out into the garden with breakfast, or just to relax, was heavenly. It’s quiet, full of trees and plants fit for a Queen, and has plenty of tables and chairs. The house itself is a gem, built in a time when elegance mattered. The rooms are a little spartan, as you’d expect, but clean and practical. The shower was the most powerful I’ve experienced, there were lots of clean, soft towels, and the cosy, comfortable beds made for good rest. Privacy was perfect. It felt like a second home from the moment we walked in. The location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from the heart of Kensington, with shops, restaurants, and anything you might want. Two metro stations are close by, making it easy to get around London quickly. Kensington Gardens and my favourite, Holland Park, are both nearby.
