Leicester Square 3Br Penthouse W/ Terrace & Lift

Breakfast was very good, with a full English selection, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries and cheese. I have Coeliac disease, and the manager went to the kitchen to bring back freshly cooked food so I wouldn't have to risk possible gluten contamination from the buffet. I appreciate staff who understand food allergies and help without being asked. The restaurant staff were helpful and polite. The front desk team were friendly, professional and polite. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, but we could check in and leave our bags; after checkout, we left them again while we walked around London for a few hours. The room was clean and maintained, though it didn't have much character. There were cans of water and a tea and coffee selection. Around 5am, someone emptying glass bottles in the street woke us, but I don't think it was anything to do with the hotel. Otherwise, we slept undisturbed and heard neither other guests nor outside music. I think our room was at the side and rear, overlooking an alleyway. It's right on the Square and within walking distance of most major London attractions. I stayed here with my wife last week, in March 2026, and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

The location made getting around London easy, with the nearest tube station only about 100m away. After checking out, I was also able to leave my bag safely at the hotel for the whole day, which let me explore without worrying about it. My room was modern, clean, comfortable, and set up to a high standard. Breakfast had plenty of fresh, well-prepared choices, too. I had a genuinely great stay and would happily come back.

For the price, I expected a lot more from a 5-star hotel. The room was far too warm when I arrived, and the thermostat took at least half an hour longer than expected to bring the temperature down. It was uncomfortable trying to settle in. The carpet didn't look clean, and the lighting left the room feeling unusually dark and unwelcoming. I was really disappointed with the stay. It wasn't the comfort or quality I paid for.

Kunika and Hassim made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. They were warm and attentive, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Their care and professionalism made an already great stay unforgettable. That's the kind of hospitality other places could learn from. Thank you both.
