London Bridge Hotel

A couple of minutes on foot from the Underground made it easy to get around London, and we'd happily pick The London Bridge Hotel again next time. We spent two nights there and had a great stay in a stylish, upscale hotel that had the comfort you'd expect. The buffet breakfast was fresh, tasty, and nicely presented, with some variety each morning. Our room was roomy and as described, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Having a bathtub was a lovely extra after a day exploring. It was quiet outside, with no street noise. We could hear a little from the room next door because the rooms aren't fully soundproof, but it was minimal and didn't affect our sleep.

We were able to check in around 11:30am or noon because a room was ready, and they didn't charge a fee. The hotel I stayed at the night before wanted £20 per hour for checking in before 3pm, so this was a big change. Borough Market, London Bridge station, and lots of lovely parts of London are just steps away. I'd stay here again and again. The rooms were clean and had enough room for luggage, and the staff were all kind and accommodating. My room faced the side of the station, but train noise didn't bother me, even though I'm a light sleeper. I used my sound machine app.

The tube station is right nearby, so getting around London was easy. Such a lovely hotel, and I'll stay here again when I come back. My standard double wasn't huge, but there was enough space, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and had everything we could need. The staff gave great service and couldn't have done more for us. The bar was nice and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend it, and I can't wait to return!

The breakfast was superb, with loads of options from continental food to a full English, plus plenty of tea, coffee, and juice. We also enjoyed the cosy bar, which was relaxing, attentive, and well priced for London. Great for a drink before or after dinner. The location worked especially well because we had dinner booked at the Shard. On arrival, the friendly and helpful front desk staff recognized it was our first stay and gave us a free upgrade to a superior king size room. It was a lovely gesture. Everywhere was clean and well presented. Our cosy room had a very comfortable large bed, a fridge, a coffee machine, and blackout curtains that made it completely dark. All the staff were polite, friendly, and smartly presented. We had a great stay and will make this our regular hotel when we're in the area. Couldn't fault it.
