We had an easy, low-stress trip, in part because getting to the hotel was straightforward and it’s so close to Heathrow. It’s convenient if you’re travelling in or out of London but still want a comfortable stay. Despite the airport location, our room was quiet, and we slept well. The room was a good size and had everything we needed. The bed was especially comfortable after travelling. The hotel felt welcoming from the moment we arrived, with clean, well-kept spaces throughout. Staff were friendly, professional and helpful, and check-in was smooth. The shared areas had a polished but relaxed feel. I’d happily stay at the London Heathrow Marriott Hotel again. It’s a reliable, comfortable choice near the airport, whether you’re travelling for work or beginning or ending a holiday.

The rooms were spotless, and so was the restaurant. Without the housekeeping, this would have been a two-star stay. I dropped one star for the reception greeting and another for the awful meal. At check-in today, the gentleman at reception opened with “ID please,” without even a hello or good afternoon. Odd. He was otherwise polite, but didn’t mention or offer an upgrade despite my membership level. We ate at the in-house Italian branded restaurant. My daughter’s Ragu pasta was nice, but the chicken Milanese my wife and I ordered was dreadful: a skinny, very dry piece of chicken that was clearly heavily fried, with three tomato halves and a cup of Salad. The receptionist did mention there was a pub serving food. Maybe he was trying to tell us something.

There’s an open foyer with a gift shop, reception, Carluccio's restaurant, and an area for food and drinks to go. Guests can also use the gym, sauna and pool for free. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious, with contemporary styling. Meeting rooms are large and comfortable, and the catering is excellent. I can fully recommend a stay.

If you’re looking to stay near Heathrow Airport, I’d highly recommend this hotel. It’s definitely the best pick among the nearby hotels. The rooms are pretty good, and the lounge is really good if you’re an elite member. Everything else was great, though breakfast service was a little slow.
