London House Hotel

The quieter setting made it feel like a bit of an escape at the end of the day, while still being easy to get anywhere in the city. I felt comfortable and at ease the whole time. I was travelling solo from Sunday to Tuesday, and the welcome from the staff started as soon as I arrived. Everyone was knowledgeable and helpful. Greis even wrote down Citymapper for me, which made getting around much easier. It was a comfortable, peaceful stay and exactly what I needed, and more. I’d absolutely come back.

The location was the best part, with several underground stations nearby and shops and restaurants just around the corner. I’d definitely consider coming back. The hotel was very clean, with basic rooms, good beds and nice big towels. The rooms are quite small, though that’s expected in London. It was good value for money, except for breakfast, which I wouldn’t buy again.

There are lots of restaurants and shops close by, and two Underground stations are about a five-minute walk away. The hotel team were very friendly and always ready to help. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and we loved being able to open the windows. There’s also a breakfast option and internet access. We had an excellent stay at the London House Hotel and will definitely return.

The room was small, just as described, but clean and cozy and suited me well as a solo traveler. The bed, view, closet and vanity were all perfect for me. My one hiccup was that the bathroom sink had no counter space. The keycard entry felt secure, and there was very little hallway noise. Booking directly through the hotel was seamless. Before I arrived, they emailed to confirm my requests for a high floor, an extra blanket and an adapter, and everything was ready at check-in. The staff were welcoming and gave honest, helpful advice. I could pay for breakfast only on the days I wanted it, which worked well since jet lag often had me sleeping in, or I had brunch plans. I stayed four nights and would absolutely come again. The Kensington location is great for the price. My friends thought I was rich for staying there, but I’m not! It’s convenient and comfortable, and really good value.
